With live music by Sunny Day, followed by DJ Jeremy Tucker, as well as slushies, burgers, a colour run, inflatables, beach volleyball, urban art, a photo booth, tie dye, a foam pit, a dunk tank and more, the summer vibes don’t get any better.
And the best thing is – it’s all free.
Mayor Deb Hamblin encouraged young people in the City of Rockingham to make the most of one of the City’s most popular annual youth events.
“This event is delivered by the Rockingham Youth Centre which is hosting a range of fun, free, supervised activities for young people over the holidays,” Mayor Hamblin said.
It’s a celebration of our young people and a great opportunity to have fun with your friends in a safe and relaxed environment. Make sure you secure your free ticket so you don’t miss out.Youth service providers such as headspace, Helping Minds, Stephen Michael Foundation, APM, and Communicare are attending the event to provide information and support to young people. They will also be running a range of fun games, sporting activities and even a sensory space for all attendees.
The Youth Beach Party is part of the City’s Summer Series of free, family-friendly events. The City’s Youth Development team and contracted security staff will be present to ensure all attendees can enjoy the event safely. As hot weather is likely, visitors are encouraged to be sun smart.
Although this is a free event, tickets are required to enter.
