As places are limited bookings are essential. An email will be sent out to attendees 48hours prior to the event commencing with details on accessing the event.

Click ‘Join as guest’ – you do not need to register or sign into a Skype account to participate (remember to only use your first name when joining the meeting).

Attending an event using Skype for Business You will need an email address to participate in online events. For assistance with setting up an email address please ask a relative, friend or library staff before booking your ticket.Download the free Skype for Business web app (desktop PC or laptop) or mobile app onto your device (Apple App store or Google Play).You may be asked to agree to the app’s various terms and conditions before you can join the meeting as a guest.Ensure you have fully installed the app and close it.Book your ticket through centralcoast.nsw.gov.au/events, click on ‘Book now’ to enter your details on Eventbrite.All bookings will close 48 hours prior to the event start time – it is the attendee’s responsibility to ensure they have the Skype for business app downloaded prior to the event, their mobile data or WiFi is able to support the online event. Council is not responsible for any individual attendee’s mobile data costs incurred during this presentation.Participants can participate in online library events without creating a Skype for business account - you will be participating as a guest.An email will be sent to all registered participants with the link and instructions on how to join in the event 48 hours prior to the event start time – if you require assistance please contact library staff prior to the day of the event. Assistance will not be available during the event.When you click on the link it will take you to the event lobby and the presenter will admit attendees.Participants may:View the event – both audio and videoThere will not be an option for participants to contribute either by audio, video or instant messaging (IM) channels (This improves the quality of the event experience for everyone). This may be facilitated at the descretion of library staff based on individual event requirements.The event may be recorded and distributed by the presenter and Central Coast Council Library Staff – questions submitted by attendees will be moderated by library staff.Recording of the event in any form by attendees is not permitted.Attendees displaying inappropriate behaviours in the online event will be removed from the event.
