Fine Art Matters are two exhibitions presented by the 2020 Ourimbah TAFE graduates to be held at The Entrance Gallery.
First exhibition Friday 30 Oct to Tuesday 10 November 2020 1. Trena Lowe – a prolific painter, printmaker and cyanotype artist shows a series of paintings and prints – superficially simple and calm thematically, but with a deeper undercurrent. 2. Nick Haley – inspired by Asian and contemporary graffiti art. Shows large spray-painted works on paper noting the figure in urban environment 3. Emerald Betteridge – a digital and fine art artist who is inspired by the surreal as she mixes figures and the plant world to create a slightly monstrous feel
Second exhibition – Friday 13 November – Tuesday 24 November 2020 1. Polina Karuso - an upcoming force in the art world hangs a series of energetic big landscapes in a robust powerful painterly technique. 2. Alix Bradley – with her beautifully spacious and light pastel and gouache works of the figure in space and her beloved animal studies. 3. Abby King – showing her new prints covering the exciting mediums of relief, wood cut and etching as this world of print opens up to her both technically and artistically.
