The Sorell Municipality is home to many wonderful groups and individuals who give freely of their time and help make a positive difference in our community.
Council is hosting a Volunteer Recognition Reception to celebrate and acknowledge the valuable contribution made by volunteers to our community.
Reception details are as follows:
Thursday 23 May 2019, 6.00pm at the Sorell Memorial Hall
A light supper and refreshments will be available.
The Reception is open to all individuals and representatives from groups who volunteer in the Sorell Municipality. For catering purposes it is essential that people RSVP their attendance at the Reception. Please RSVP the numbers from your group attending by Friday 17 May by phoning 6269 0000 or emailing [email protected].
We are hoping to have a photo display of volunteering in action in our community available on the night. If you have good quality photos of your group undertaking their voluntary duties and are happy to share them, please send them to us! Photos need to be received by Friday 17 May 2019 to be included. Please email them directly to [email protected]. Thank you in anticipation!
