Reconciliation Week

On Friday 27 May, a Reconciliation Week event will be held on the Berri Riverfront from 10.00am until 3.00pm.

Coordinated by the Aboriginal Sobriety Group, the event will have a range of entertainment,  including  didgeridoo playing, singing and dancing.  There will also be an open mike where community members are given the opportunity to talk about what reconciliation means to them.  Come along and celebrate Reconciliation Week.

Event Program

10:45am - Didgeridoo playing to start proceedings

11:00am – Acknowledgement of country

11:05am – Song By Reggie Black

11:15am – Open mike to community members to talk about what Reconciliation week means to them

11:40am – End of formalities

12:30 – 1:00pm – Lunch

Entertainment throughout the day; Jumping castle, Face painting, Singing, Didgeridoo playing
