New Indoor Swimming Pool for Oatlands

The Hodgman Liberal Government will provide $2 million to help build the new Oatlands Indoor Pool.

Rene Hidding MP is pleased to announce that Oatlands will finally get a brand new indoor heated public swimming pool.  

Following more than 10 years of lobbying, the current old, rundown swimming pool will be replaced.

The Hodgman Liberal Government will provide $2 million in addition to a federal grant of $1.5 million with Council contributing the balance of funds to build this new facility.

The new Oatlands swimming pool will allow year round access and will not only service the Oatlands region, but will bring visitors from further afield.

Rene Hidding congratulated the Council for their hard work to get this project off the ground and said the government looked forward to seeing the project commence soon.
