Aqua Energy taking fitness to a new level

Fitness lovers from all walks of life will now be better catered for at Aqua Energy in Sale thanks to an impressive equipment upgrade.

The $150,000 gym upgrade includes the installation of a number of new ‘state-of-the-art’ items of cardio equipment making it the areas number one fitness centre choice.

During the upgrade, the gym will require to be closed from 9pm on Monday 17 July and will officially reopen at 8am on Sunday 23 July.

The Aqua Energy gym currently has 22 items of cardio equipment, 12 items of the current fleet of cardio equipment will be retained and 19 new items of cardio equipment are being installed. This will expand the gym’s cardio range to a generous 31 items in total.

Wellington Shire Council General Manager Community & Culture Glenys Butler says, “This means more choice, less waiting, more efficient workouts and better results. A number of the new items feature a full 15-inch touch screen console that enables connectivity to the web. This includes, music on demand, personalised console displays, integrated tracking of personal activity, access to social media and lots more!

“No other gym in Sale provides this level of versatility and capability, to control and track your personal workout or provide as many different exercise options as you will find at Aqua Energy,” Glenys concluded.  

Another stand out item Aqua Energy is adding to their fleet of equipment is a new Functional Training Rig. Functional training provides benefits to all levels of users, from those undertaking return to exercise or undergoing rehabilitation, through to the high performing sports person. There are more creative work-out options leading to improved strength and endurance and greater ability to perform day to day tasks with ease.

Information has been sent to Aqua Energy fitness members advising of the temporary closure. We are really sorry for the disruption but feel confident everyone will agree the inconvenience was worth it once they experience the new equipment. Group fitness classes will continue to run as normal.

There will be a Community Gala Open Day on Sunday 23 July from 10.00am to 4.00pm to officially launch the reopening of the gym. Everyone is welcome and entry is FREE. So, come along and enjoy the fun!
