The Office of Youth Affairs is calling for passionate young Territorians to apply to be a member of the 2018 Youth Round Table or as a NT Youth Week Ambassador. The Northern Territory Youth Round Table (Round Table) is a direct communication avenue between young Territorians and the Northern Territory Government. It is a chance for young people, who are aged 15 to 25, to get involved and have their views heard by the NT Government about issues that interest or affect youth. Up to 16 members will be recruited and members will have the opportunity to consult with the government on a range of youth issues. Tennant Creek Local Natasha May was a member of the Chief Minister's Round Table of Young Territorians in 2016. The following year she went on to be a NT Youth Week Ambassador representing the Barkly. For those wanting to be a NT Youth Week Ambassador, up to five regional Ambassadors will be selected to represent their peers and help to plan and promote NTYW events and activities in their region. The NT Youth Week runs from 13-22 April 2018. Applications for both close on Tuesday, 31 October. To download a form and find our more info click on http://www.youth.nt.gov.au/nat...
