At the recent Australia Day breakfast held at Nanson Museum the Chapman Valley Historical Society were awarded the 2018 Community Group of the Year award for the amazing work undertaken for the ANZAC tribute.

This project was more than 12 months in the making with a small subcommittee working to ensure that all fallen soldiers of the district would never be forgotten.

Congratulations to everyone involved it is an amazing asset for the Shire.
