On Saturday 17 February 2018 the Boroondara Farmers Market will celebrate 15 years selling fresh produce from across Victoria.
Join in the celebration from 8am to 1pm at Patterson Reserve on Auburn Road in Hawthorn East. There will be live music, free face painting and unveiling of a plaque to commemorate the milestone.
Held every third and fifth Saturday of the month, from 8am to 1pm at Patterson Reserve in Hawthorn East, vendors sell fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, honey, wine, beer, olives and more, all grown and produced in Victoria.
Boroondara Farmers Market is an initiative of the City of Boroondara, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Glenferrie, who also manages the market on market day. So far, the market has raised $800,000, which Rotary Club of Glenferrie have used towards community projects like the CHANCES scholarship, the Boroondara Family Network and the Sumba Eye program.
Boroondara Farmers Market is accredited with the Victorian Farmers’ Markets Association. The market is located at Patterson Reserve, Auburn Road in Hawthorn East.
