Council is looking for locals who wish to train and work as a lifeguard at the swimming pool.

Royal Life Saving Society NT Branch is holding lifeguard training courses the week beginning Monday, 19 February at the Tennant Creek Swimming Pool. Bronze Medallion course available on Tuesday, 20 February from 2pm-8pm. Cost $180 Pool Lifeguard course available on Wednesday, 21 February and Thursday, 22 February from 2pm-8pm. Cost $280. Participants must pick up pre-course workbooks from Royal Life Saving's Executive Director Floss Roberts on Monday, 19 February at the swimming pool at 3pm and complete them before training starts.
