During February 2018, the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be undertaking geotechnical investigations to support the detailed design of the Narrabri to North Star (N2NS) project as part of the Inland Rail Programme.
ARTC is undertaking geotechnical investigations to understand the ground conditions around the Moree section of the N2NS project. The investigations include boreholes and test pit excavation on Jones Avenue (between Warialda and Gosport Streets) and Tycannah Street (just to the south of Maude Street), Moree. They will be carried out by ARTC’s specialist subcontractor.
Work hours are 7.00 am – 7.00 pm Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 February, weather permitting. This work is weather dependent, and will be carried out on the next available day should delays occur.
Traffic control will be in place at these locations to ensure safe accessibility to local businesses, residences and streets in the vicinity of the works zone.
