Come and visit one of Wanneroo’s historic gems for an afternoon of hands-on heritage fun as part of the 2018 Australian Heritage Festival.
Visitors to Buckingham House will be transported back to the days of old, learning skills such as pioneer style washing, how to make butter and damper, as well as gardening tips for a prosperous fruit and vegie patch.
Vintage games on the day will include good old fashioned quoits, skittles and hula hoops.
Children can step back in time in the Old Wanneroo Schoolhouse to try their hand at using a slate board and chalk.
This heritage event is free and suitable for all ages.
