Council has received a submission to rename Hutchinson Road in the locality of Bonang “Hutchison Road” as shown below:

Council is proposing to rename the section of Lanes Road that extends from Princes Highway, Nicholson through to Middle Creek (shown in yellow and pink on the below map). This means that properties along this section of road would retain their road numbering but would be allocated a new road name.

Under this proposal, properties along Lanes Road, west of middle creek (shown in green) would retain the name Lanes Road, however, would be allocated a new road number that reflects the distance from the start of the road at the Great Alpine Road.

Council has received a submission to name an unnamed road in the locality of Marlo “Turner Road” as shown below:

Friday 05 June The East Gippsland sporting community scored a goal today, with the announcement of $5.3 million in funding for the planned WORLD Sporting Precinct upgrade in Bairnsdale.
