Delivering value in 2018/2019
Bayside City Council 18 May 2018

2018/2019 represents a watershed moment for Council as it moves forward with a record $52 million in community investment and its first annual budget free of historic debt.

The accelerated program of infrastructure upgrades will deliver 4 new sporting facilities, significant upgrades to community facilities such as the Sandringham Library and an exciting redevelopment project of the historic Sandringham Masonic Hall.

Alongside new community facilities, Sandringham Village will also benefit from a major streetscape upgrade.

Beaumaris Concourse will also benefit from a major upgrade to help ensure that this important shopping village continues to thrive and serve the needs of our community.

Council will continue to work towards its significant investment in the Dendy Beach Precinct, and work will also commence towards the development of a new Master plan for Elsternwick Park North that will see the conversion of the existing golf course into an environmentally focussed public park that will benefit Bayside residents for generations to come.

Central to all of this work is Council’s commitment to improving the liveability of our community.
