McCourt and Woolwich St Drainage Works Update

Underground drainage and landscaping work on McCourt Street and Woolwich Street is now underway. The McCourt Street/Woolwich Street site is the geographical low point for approximately 30 hectares of land.  The Town has therefore approved the construction of an underground drainage storage infiltration facility beneath McCourt Park and No. 77 McCourt Street in an effort to prevent potential flood damage to public and private infrastructure from extreme storm events.  Secondary civil engineering works will also be carried out on the surface of the Park and to the McCourt Street verge.  Check it out.
