Peel Terrace Works - Not Commencement of Eastern LInk

The City of Busselton advises that the current works on Peel Terrace from Causeway Road to Stanley Street is not related to the development of the City Centre Eastern Link. This section of road is being reconstructed due to a pavement failure and would be taking place with or without consideration of the City Centre Eastern Link development.

It should be noted that the City does not have all the necessary approvals in place to commence construction of the City Centre Eastern Link and is still undertaking the Commonwealth environmental approval process. Further, Council has resolved to undertake additional stakeholder consultation on the outcomes of the Traffic Management Study before deciding whether to proceed with construction of the City Centre Eastern Link.
