Established in 1839 by Neil Malcolm, Poltalloch Station was home to the Bowman brothers who become some of the earliest pioneers of the new colony. John Bowman purchased Poltalloch in the 1870’s and went on to build the newest homestead in approximately 1876. This detailed pencil drawing by Erica Mcnicol Artisan is one of many pieces currently on display in the Coorong Gallery as part of South Australia's History Festival. (Michelle) #Meningie #history
