Find Yourself in a Library for Library and Information Week 2018

Library and Information Week is a chance for everyone to discover the resources and services that are available for free from Big Sky Libraries through the Moree Community Library and Mungindi Library.
This year’s theme is Find Yourself in a Library.
The Moree Community Library will be celebrating with a junior’s (5-12 year olds) scavenger hunt every afternoon, after school during 21-25 May and on 23 May will host a Tech at Twilight wine and cheese evening.
Both Moree and Mungindi branches will host National Simultaneous Storytime at 11am on 23 May 2018. There is also a survey where respondents can win $200 voucher https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Library_User_Non_User_Survey
Cooperative Library Manager Sally Walters said the event is organised by the Australian Library and Information Association to promote the value of reading and literacy, the importance of Australia's book industry and the role of libraries.
“It is a great opportunity to celebrate with a week of engaging events and competitions for all ages and showcase the services Big Sky Libraries provide to members of the public,” said Mrs Walters.
