MEDIA RELEASE 18 May 2018
Bathurst Library has a full program of events to celebrate this year’s Library and Information Week from Monday, 21 May to Saturday, 26 May.
The celebration aims to raise the profile of libraries and information service professionals in Australia. It provides an opportunity for staff to showcase their resources, facilities, events and services through different programs and events for the community.
Mayor Graeme Hanger OAM encourages all residents to get involved and celebrate the week with the many activities planned.
“This is a wonderful way to engage the entire community and promote the important values of reading and literacy,” he said.
