Choose your own adventure with a new library card
Blue Mountains 28 May 2018

Mountain, waterfall or history - which adventure best describes you? From Friday 1 June, in an innovative move, Blue Mountains Library is introducing Library cards with a personalised touch.

There will be three new card designs that reflect the diverse attributes of the Blue Mountains with iconic shots of Terrace Falls – Hazelbrook,  Mitchell’s Ridge – Mount Victoria and a 1922 image of a ‘One Man Band’ in Bathurst Road, Katoomba.

Mayor, Cr Mark Greenhill, said, “We are fortunate to live in an area rich in both natural and historic beauty and it is exciting to see the Library find a quirky way to honour the importance of these aspects and to celebrate that the Blue Mountains means different things to all who live here.

I encourage all residents to join the Library, grab a new Library card and make the most of the many exciting resources it has to offer”.

New cards will be available to all newly joining members. Existing members who have an old, blue, laminated card can replace it, free of charge, with one of the three brand new cards until 31 August.
