Brighton Library receives a facelift - Closed from 18 June until 4 July

Brighton Library is an important social and educational hub for residents, which is why we are undertaking renovations to ensure it meets the needs of the community into the future.  

On completion, the renovated library will have updated spaces for reading and informal learning, with new carpets, shelving and a paint lift as well as an upgraded training room.

Brighton Library is one of our busiest libraries, with more than 280,000 visits a year.

The current library building is nearly 70 years old so these renovations will provide a much-needed lift to the facility.

During renovations, the library will be closed from 18 June until 4 July. Online library services will be operating as usual, as will all other Bayside Libraries. To locate your nearest alternative library, visit www.bayside.vic.gov.au/library
