Hampton Street Crossing Works

From May to June 2018, works will be carried out at the Hampton Street pedestrian crossing.
The safety upgrades included works to install emergency escape gates with latches at the crossing.
New gates will ensure pedestrians will be fenced off from oncoming trains, while those caught going through the crossing have a safe way out with the installation of emergency escape latches.
The works will also make the crossing more accessible and easier to use for people in wheelchairs and scooters.
During construction, some night works will be required.
For your safety, please observe all signage and traffic management.
The State Government funds these works under the Level Crossing Upgrade Program.
