Parents and carers who are seeking some serious fun for their 5 - 12 year olds during the next school holidays are able to book a place in Eurobodalla Shire Council's Vacation Care program from Monday 9 September.

There are just 30 spaces available in the Narooma, Batemans Bay and Moruya vacation care centres so it's a good idea to book as early as possible.

Council offers a fun, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children with accredited child care services and safety standards.

Children in vacation care are encouraged to participate and share their ideas, make new friends and have fun. There's a vacation care activity every day to suit the interests of both quiet and active children.

The serious fun on offer includes bike and scooter days, cooking, pottery, rock climbing, film making, bush walking, excursions, movie days, kite making/flying, design and construction days, silly competitions, arts and crafts, parties, and cubbies.

Vacation Care is available on Mondays to Fridays from 8.00am to 6.00pm in the grounds of Moruya Primary School, Batemans Bay Public School and Narooma Public School.

The fees can be as little as $7.10 per day after the Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate are applied.

For more information, call Eurobodalla Shire Council on 4474 1000. Or click the 'OOSH' button on council's website, www.esc.nsw.gov.au, to download the program and booking form. The bookings week runs from Monday 9 September until Friday 13 September 2013.
