Eurobodalla Shire Council and South East Arts have joined forces to deliver a free workshop on 28 August that will help local people develop the skills they need to successfully apply for arts grant money.

The workshop will be presented by Andrew Gray of South East Arts 2013 between 10am and 4pm at Batemans Bay Library and is designed for individuals and community groups who develop arts projects of all shapes and sizes.

You will learn the fundamentals of preparing a grant application, including how to find the best funding opportunities for your arts project.

Mayor Lindsay Brown says council and South East Arts are presenting the workshop to help local people develop the specific skills required to attract arts funding.

"The workshop's aim is to improve your success rate with arts grant applications," said Cr Brown.

"This is a great opportunity to learn some of the skills, tips and techniques that are needed to source the right arts grant for your project and prepare a successful application."

To book your place in the arts grant funding workshop, contact South East Arts on 6499 2207 or email [email protected] by Monday 26 August 2013. Places are limited so bookings are essential.
