Woollahra Council is preparing to undertake its annual Broadleaf weed eradication program at parks, reserves and sports fields throughout the Woollahra Municipality. Council is specifically targeting bindii before seeding in early spring. Treatment will commence on Monday 14 August (weather permitting).
Duration of works will be up to 2 weeks (weather permitting). A selective broadleaf herbicide will be used. The works will be undertaken by GLOBE Australia Pty Ltd, a highly regarded and fully certified company used by many Sydney Councils. Local signage will be erected prior to sites being sprayed as part of our Pesticide Notification Policy.
If you have any questions about this program please contact Council’s Open Space and Trees Coordinator for Parks and Assets on 9391 7979.
