Free garden mulch available to Woollahra residents

Mulching is a great way to conserve water, suppress weeds and supply nutrients to your plants. We encourage you to use mulch around all trees and over your garden beds.

The Council mulch pile is located at the Gunyah carpark, which is found at the junction of Old South Head Rd and Salisbury St Watsons Bay, next to the Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.

Please bring your own equipment and wear suitable clothes and shoes when taking mulch.

You will need:

Fork or shovel Small bins or sturdy bags Trailer if a larger load is needed

Residents can access the mulch pile at any time. However if residents need large loads of mulch, the Council Tree Team can drop 12 cubic metres at a suitable residential property in Woollahra. Please contact the Council Customer Service team to arrange a large mulch delivery.
