Published: 22 February 2018

Ride Plus, is a new flexble and personalised form of public transport, offering Sydney's Eastern Suburb residents greater convenience, service and connectivity.

Ride Plus is a 'point-to-hub' on demand transport ride-share service, which uses four Mercedes Sprinter shuttles to pick passengers up from their home and drop them at the nearest public transport hub within the Eastern Suburbs On Demand Zone.

The vehicles have been customised to provide a premium service and superior customer experience. They carry up to a maximum of 11 customers at any one time and feature free WiFi and USB points.

There is no timetable as the service is on demand. Passengers can book a trip, from one-month to one-hour ahead of when they need it, via the Ride Plus app or the website. www.ride-plus.com.au. Once a booking is confirmed, they'll provide a 10 minute pick-up time slot and a maximum 15-minute journey time guarantee.

Ride Plus will operate Monday-Friday between 6am and 10pm, except public holidays.

Fares will cost a flat fee of $3.10, payable in advance by credit card.
