Don your hats, coats and gloves and embrace the chill, because on July 1, the City of Swan will host its very first Winter Warmer event at Locale in Midland.
The free event will include hearty food and drink, a warming wood fire, a pop up market, local musicians and plenty of fun for the whole family.
City of Swan Mayor David Lucas said the event will be a celebration of all things winter.
"The City is excited to announce its inaugural Winter Warmer event, which will celebrate and combine all the greatest hits of winter - like mulled wine, hot chocolate and comfort food around a wood fire," he said.
"There are plenty of fun activities for every member of the family and we welcome community members of all ages to come and enjoy all that will be on offer."
Midland/Guildford Ward Councillor Mark Elliott said the event was a perfect reason to cosy up and welcome winter.
“This event is the first of its kind in the City of Swan, so I encourage you to brave the winter chill to soak up a great community atmosphere in the heart of Midland,” he said.
