Music Food and Fun coming to Roy Dore Reserve for Carrum Beats and Eats

The Carrum community is invited to a great community day out at Carrum Beats and Eats featuring music, food and fun.

Kingston Mayor Steve Staikos said Council was pleased to celebrate the return to Carrum after the Harvest Festival was held in Chelsea for the past two years during construction works on the Carrum Family and Children’s Centre.

“We’re pleased to celebrate the return to Carrum with a new-name and new-look,” Cr Staikos said. “Carrum Beats and Eats event will be held at Roy Dore Reserve on Saturday 12 May featuring a great range of music and food to enjoy.”

“The community were clear they wanted to host an event in Carrum and we wanted to showcase the local atmosphere in the event’s new name,” Cr Staikos said.

“We are proud to be back at Roy Dore and although it’s now a smaller space we’ll be presenting a great line-up of music across two stages including headline performers Wilbur Wilde and the Trouble Makers. The community can also enjoy roving performers, food and drink stalls, all-day entertainment and plenty of family-friendly activities to keep the kids happy.”

Carrum Beats and Eats is on 12noon-9.30pm Saturday 12 May at Roy Dore Reserve, Carrum.

Entry costs $2 entry per person, $5 for families. No animals or BYO allowed.
