The Head First Acrobats are coming to Karralyka this school holidays, performing their swashbuckling pirate adventure “Arrr we there yet?” on Wednesday 4 July 2018, at 11am and 2pm.
“Arrr we there yet?” is an exciting and hilarious adventure in which three sailors hit the high seas in search of treasure. A scallywag pirate, a muscular sailor, and a chef with a seafood allergy each fight for the title of captain aboard the ship.
Prepare to be amazed, as these acrobatic pirates turn ship life upside down… literally! Walking the plank involves the high-flying teeterboard, cooking for the crew involves juggling knives, and steering the ship means spinning upside down in huge metal Cyr wheel!
Based out of Melbourne, Head First Acrobats are an award-winning entertainment company providing world-class circus and physical theatre performances. They combine old-school slapstick comedy with new-school death-defying acrobatics, to provide a thoroughly entertaining experience for people of all ages.
Head First Acrobats is made up of Cal Harris, a world-class street performer turned contemporary circus artist; Thomas Gorham, an acrobat with a background in breakdance; and Rowan Thomas, a world-renowned Cyr wheel artist with a natural talent for comedy.
This will be a sure-fire hit with the kids, me hearties, plus there’s a free art and craft session from 45 minutes prior to each show.
