Public Notice - Proposed Budget 2016/17, Strategic Resource Plan 2017-2020 and Rating Strategy

On Monday 18 April 2016, Mitchell Shire Council formally considered its Proposed Budget for 2016/17, the 2017-2020 Strategic Resource Plan and the Council’s Rating Strategy.

Council will meet to adopt its Budget (PDF, 2.91MB) , Strategic Resource Plan (PDF, 1.64MB) and Rating Strategy (PDF, 291K) at 113 High Street Broadford at an Ordinary Meeting of Council at 7pm on 20 June 2016.

Copies of the Proposed Budget 2016/17, Strategic Resource Plan 2017-2020 and the Rating Strategy are available for inspection until 24 May 2016. 

Hard Copies are also available at our Customer and Library Service Centres

Written submissions about the Proposed Budget, Strategic Resource Plan and the Rating Strategy will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 (“the Act”). 

Submissions must be received at Mitchell Shire Council, 113 High Street Broadford VIC 3658 by 5pm Tuesday 24 May 2016. 

All written submissions lodged with the Council will become public documents available for inspection by the public in accordance with the Act.

Submissions will be considered at a Hearings Committee meeting of Council to be held on Monday 6 June 2016 at 7pm in the Council Chamber, Mitchell Shire Council, 113 High Street Broadford, VIC 3658.
