Pursuant to Section 189 (2) of the Local Government Act 1989, Council is required to give notice of its intention to sell or exchange land.

Notice is hereby given of the consideration to sell part of the land currently known as Lot 2 on Title Plan 014526U, at Conway Street Kilmore, Parish of Bylands. The land is contained within the Certificate of Title Volume 10463 Folio 444. The land is the subject of a current subdivision application which would, with the completion of the subdivision, see the land more particularly identified as Lot 1 and Road R-1 on PS747382R. The land to be held within Lot 1 and considered for sale is shown hatched on the diagram below.

Any person who wishes to make a submission regarding the proposed land sale may do so under Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989. Written submissions in relation to the Notice of Intention to sell the land will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989. Please note all written submissions lodged will be available for public inspection for a period of 12 months in accordance with the Act. Any person making a written submission may request in the submission to be heard in support of their written submission. Any person requesting to be heard is entitled to appear in person, or be represented by a person specified in the submission, before a meeting of Council’s Hearings Committee.
