The branding review was prompted by the upcoming Ararat Arts Precinct redevelopment project.
The Ararat Arts Precinct project will establish a regionally significant arts destination at the Ararat Town Hall that offers major exhibitions and performances and attracts conferences and events to the region.
The scale and ambition of this project has prompted the review of existing PAC and gallery brands. This process aims to ensure both organisations are best placed to develop audiences and increase visitation and engagement on re-opening in 2018.
Gravity Design was engaged to lead a review of current PAC and gallery brands.
Consultation with key stakeholders occurred and Gravity Design then prepared a review with recommendations for rebranding and conceptually reframing the respective brand identities.
Council's new website now features a 'Have Your Say' page, and it is being used to gain additional community feedback to help guide this brand review process.
Community members can complete a brief survey and can also make comments. A copy of the branding review is also available on the page to read.
