Ararat Rural City Council 20 Jun 2018

On Sunday, March 5 from 9am to 12pm an event has been arranged to tidy up Ararat and surrounds.

Trevor Quick will lead a team of dedicated volunteers to help clean up our municipality and all members of the community are welcome to join in.

Simply visit the Ararat & Grampians Visitor Information Centre between 9am and 12 on March 5 to collect clean up equipment or for further information contact 0408 178 169.

The first Clean Up Australia Day was held in 1990 and it has since become Australia’s largest community-based environmental event.

Over the years, volunteers have donated more than 31 million hours at over 166,000 locations across the country.
