ABC Drive presenters Alex Barwick and Paul Serratore and news journalist Thea Halpin are in town for two days bringing all the latest news and yarns from Tennant Creek and the Barkly region. The team plan to speak to a wide cross-section of the community including Barkly Regional Council CEO Steve Moore, Artistic Director for Barkly Regional Arts Kathy Burns, Roddy Calvert from Barkly Tourism as well as ladies from the CWA from 19-20 June. Council's Youth Links Coordinator Alba Brockie, local musos, President of the Tennant Creek Show and many more movers and shakers will have the chance to chat. There's also a quiz, How well do you know your town?, with big prizes on offer and locals are invited to come down to the ABC Outside Broadcast unit to let listeners know what you love about Tennant Creek and the Barkly. You can catch the ABC Drive crew from 4pm-6pm at Peko Park on Tuesday, 19 June and Wednesday, 20 June. Tune into to 106.1 FM if you're in the Barkly or join the fun from Alice Springs on 783 AM.
