If you’ve been on the search for an active family event, register everyone today for the Strathfield Cooks River Fun Run, which is returning for its 9th year on Sunday 24 June 2018.
Entries are still open with a range of categories from 5km and 10km runs, as well as a 5km walk, 10 km relay and 2km Kids Run, ensuring there is something for all fitness levels.
With just over two weeks to go, there’s still time to register and get into tip-top shape with prizes in store for top place getters in each category. Online registrations will remain open until 3pm Friday 23 June, and race day entries will be taken from 6.40am on Sunday 24 June at Freshwater Park.
The Cooks River Fun Run course is certified by Athletics Australia, and is also a proud supporter of a worthy cause, with $5 from every entry being donated to Bowel Cancer Australia to assist with research and awareness.
Bowel Cancer Australia, a healthy eating station, jumping castle and soccer activation will be on site to keep participants informed, their tummies satisfied and children active.
