The June to August 2018 edition of Maroondah in focus features a whole host of information on interesting and fun activities to stave off the winter chill, as well as the latest news on Council services and community projects.

Whether it’s visiting our galleries to view the works of talented artists, taking in a show at Karralyka, keeping fit or relaxed at Aquanation or Aquahub, or discovering what’s on offer at Realm, Maroondah in focus is bursting with winter-warming ideas.

We give you the latest news on the much-anticipated opening this month of the million-dollar playspace at Ringwood Lake Park. And this edition also takes a look at our recently adopted 2018/19 Budget, with highlights on the some of the $43.68 million extensive capital projects, new initiatives and services that Council is delivering across the municipality.

This issue also features an update on the many environment and sustainability projects across the municipality, including energy efficient upgrades, the Vegetation Review, our carbon offsetting program, recycling update, waterway and dam rehabilitation works, and the revitalisation of Dandenong Creek.
