Maroondah’s free drop-in program for young people EV’s Hangout program will close for the Term 2 holidays, but will be back on board again on Thursday 19 July, between 3pm and 6pm.
EV’s Hangout is exactly what its name suggests – a safe place for young people, aged 12 to 25, to hang out and enjoy some relaxing and free activities, including card games, board games, video games, pool tables, access to laptop and Wi-Fi, and free snacks too
The program is run under the supervision of youth workers, who are also there to provide support, answer questions or provide referral to services such as employment advice, volunteering opportunities and more. Plus, it provides a great way to meet new people and make new friends.
EV’s Hangout runs out of EV’s Youth Centre, which is a popular youth venue in Croydon that runs information sessions and live music gigs for young people.
EV’s Hangout is held each Thursday, during school term, from 3pm to 6pm at EV's Youth Centre, 212 Mt Dandenong Rd, Croydon.
