Over the past two weeks the city has watched the pop-up ice skating rink take form, and from tomorrow residents and visitors can take to the ice.
The pop-up ice skating rink has returned to Armstrong Street South, next to the Ballarat Town Hall as part of Ballarat Winter Festival.
Attracting almost 17,000 skaters last year, the popular activity is set to have families from far and wide lacing up their skates during the 2018 winter school holidays.
The pop-up ice skating rink will open tomorrow morning, 30 June for a two week period over the school holidays, with the final day being 15 July.
Eight one-hour sessions will be held daily at 9am, 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 3pm, 4.30pm, 6pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets are now on sale from $8 child, $15 adult and $30 family (two adults and two children).
