Bathurst Winter Festival Ice Skating Tickets

NAIDOC Week - Flag Raising Ceremony
Celebrate National NAIDOC Week in Bathurst by attending a flag raising ceremony on Monday 9 July 2018. An official ceremony and morning tea will be held in the Council Chamber at 10.00 am, followed by the flag raising in front of the Civic Centre, Russell Street.
Residents are also reminded that the local Bathurst Aboriginal community will be further celebrating NAIDOC Week at a later date, when the weather is warmer. Details will be provided closer to the date.
Community Stories Day – Bathurst Rail Museum
A community stories day for the new Bathurst Rail Museum will be held on Saturday, 7 July from 10.00am to 2.00pm at the Bathurst Railway Institute Building in Havannah Street.
The day will provide an opportunity to see the historical Railway Institute Building before work commences on the new museum. It will also provide an opportunity for the community to provide their stories.

Temporary closure of dog park
The small dog off leash area in Kefford Street will temporarily close from Monday, 2 July for a period of three weeks to allow new grass to establish. The park has had an irrigation system recently installed to enable the area to be maintained to a standard to meet community expectations.

Public Wi-Fi Acceptable Use Policy
Council has developed a policy - Public Wi-Fi Acceptable Use Policy - for the public Wi-Fi system to be installed in the CBD. Council is seeking feedback on this policy.
Mitre-Suttor-Lambert Street Roundabout Design
The design for a roundabout at the Mitre-Suttor- Lambert Street intersection has been completed and Council is seeking feedback on this project.
Water Access for Primary Producers
Council has resolved to provide water from the Hereford Street standpipes at no charge to verified primary producers. Council is seeking feedback on the proposed policy.

Tourism Business Workshops
Two workshops, run by Destination NSW, for local tourism organisations will be held in Bathurst. The workshops will help local businesses develop, promote and sell their products to visitors from across Australia and the world. The workshops will be held 5 and 6 July at Rydges, Mt Panorama.
