Youth Council

Applications are now open for the 2018/2019 Bathurst Regional Youth Council. The Youth Council provides an opportunity for young people aged between 15 and 18 years to engage with the Council and other youth service providers. Applications close at 4.00 pm on Tuesday 12 June 2018 and forms are available on Council’s website. For more information call Council on 6333 6523.

Illegal Dumping

Illegal dumping is a big issue that not only pollutes the environment and costs Council and ratepayers money, it makes our region look untidy. You can help Council and the NSW Environment Protection Authority catch offenders by reporting illegal dumping when it occurs. Just search ‘Report to EPA’ on your smart device, or call Council on 6333 6511. Together we can keep our region beautiful.

Tree Planting Day

On Sunday 17 June, we need your help to plant trees, shrubs and grasses at Hawthornden Creek, Jacques Park, South Bathurst. Contact Council’s Recreation Section on 6333 6233 or visit the Sustainable Bathurst Facebook page for more information.

Be Water Wise – Maintenance and Repair

Did you know that a dripping tap can waste about 20,000 litres of water per year? Now that the cooler weather is here, it's a great time to do a little maintenance and make sure that you aren’t wasting water around the home. Check that the toilets aren’t releasing water between flushes and dripping taps could be fixed by simply changing the washer.

Bathurst Winter Festival Ice Skating Tickets

Temporary Road Closures

Limekilns Road

Limekilns Road, between Hughes Street and Marsden Lane will be temporarily closed to traffic until Friday, 22 June for road and stormwater works. Local traffic can access McBrien Drive from east bound direction during the period of the closure.

Bathurst and Prince Streets, Perthville

Bathurst Street, between Bridge and North Streets, along with Prince Street between Bathurst andChurch Streets will be temporarily closed during May and June for road and stormwater works.Resident access will be maintained during the closure.
