Residents in the City of Wanneroo with an innovative business idea are encouraged to apply for a Curtin Ignition scholarship.
Curtin Ignition is an intensive, one week education program for aspiring entrepreneurs, academics and corporate visionaries to trial and prepare innovative business ideas for the commercial environment.
Mayor Tracey Roberts said the City was proud to be offering two fully funded scholarships through the annual program.
“The City of Wanneroo is committed to supporting local businesses and enabling economic growth and employment,” Mayor Roberts said.
“These scholarships are specifically aimed at people with an early stage business or an idea for a new product or service which could become a high growth business.
“I encourage anyone who meets the criteria to put their idea forward and apply for a potentially life changing scholarship.”
An information session about the program will be held at 10am on 27 June, upstairs at Wanneroo Library & Cultural Centre, 3 Rocca Road, Wanneroo.
Registrations are essential and can be made by emailing: [email protected], phoning 9266 4555 or on the Curtin website.
Applications close 13 July 2018.
