Technology is changing the way we live, work and play. The City of Hobart is creating its first Smart City Strategy which will provide a roadmap for how the City uses technology and data to better service the community’s needs, improve liveability, manage resources, drive economic activity and foster innovation.
This August will host three free public forums to spark conversation about the Smart City concept. Each forum will feature an expert panel and focus on a different topic. They will encourage debate, introduce different viewpoints and perspectives and discuss the big issues.
Public Forums will be held from 6-8 pm in the Hobart Town Hall Ballroom, 50 Macquarie Street.
15 August - Smart Cities: The art of possible
22 August - Smart Cities: What you need to know
29 August - Smart Cities: Building a contemporary Australian city
