Bookings are still open for the community barbecue and consultation forum on Saturday 4 August to prepare for the next Emerald Lake Park precinct 5-year strategic plan.
Facilitated by Cardinia Shire Council, the forum will be held from 1–2.30pm at the Emerald Lake Park Environment Centre. A free community barbecue hosted by the Friends of Emerald Lake Park (FELP) will be offered from 12.30–1pm. Bookings are essential, for catering and planning purposes.
To register your place at the barbecue and forum, go to www.trybooking.com/WXRC
The forum will give attendees an opportunity to share their hopes, concerns and ideas about the Emerald Lake Park precinct – what makes the precinct great, what needs improvement, and what could be implemented in the future.
Feedback gathered from the forum and the other consultation activities currently underway will help inform the five-year strategic plan for the Emerald Lake Park precinct, which includes Emerald Lake Park and Nobelius Heritage Park.
The plan will include an overview of the strategic direction for precinct and will help guide future activities, maintenance, promotion and improvements for Emerald Lake Park and Nobelius Heritage Park.
