Local Government Week

During this special week we encourage people to explore some of the ways in which local government is part of their lives.  You probably know all about roads, rates and rubbish but did you know here at Carrathool Shire Council, we also:

Build and maintain our beautiful parks and gardens. Respect the memory of your loved ones at our Shire managed cemeteries. Recognise the value of our younger population though our annual Youth Week. Help our aged and infirm residents through home and community care. Provide a first-class library services for all our residents. Keep your dogs safe through our micro-chipping service. Lobby for internet/mobile phone towers for greater connectivity for our residents.
