Centennial Park Sharpens its Secateurs
City of Unley 23 Jul 2018
Centennial Park boasts some of the best memorial gardens for commemorating and reflecting on the lives of loved ones. The beautifully landscaped grounds span 40 hectares (100 acres) and include more than 30 thoughtfully designed gardens. The Centennial Park team will spend the next three weeks pruning and sculpturing their roses in preparation for spectacular Spring blooming, in around three months.

“I love how passionate our team is about our gardens, and in particular our roses” said Centennial Park CEO Ms Janet Miller.

“It’s so important to have a special place to come and reflect on the life of a loved one. Memorials provide that valuable emotional anchor point for family and friends - over 170,000 families have chosen Centennial Park as the best place for their loved one’s memorial.”

“When you stroll through our stunningly beautiful gardens, it’s easy to see why,” said Ms Miller.

“While our pruning team will have a busy few weeks ahead of them, we will have help from the horticultural students from Urrbrae TAFE who will gain valuable pruning experience, learning from professionals at Centennial Park,” said Ms Miller.     Media Contact: Alida Parente, Centennial Park Marketing & Communications Coordinator phone 8275 2217 or 0429 871 076
