Vale Roger Strother

Today, with heavy hearts and fond memories, we farewell one of our own - former Mayor Roger Strother.

Not just a pillar of his community, Roger dedicated much of his life to helping others. His Council leadership came at a time when one of the worst droughts in history rocked our region. Through all of this, his foresight helped rebuild our economy through his commitment to what we now know as facilitating council land to become the newly developed multi-million dollar The Bend Motorsport Park.

He will be missed.
