Mayor Cr Laurence Evans said he was thrilled with the appointment of Mr Cummins.
“Mr Cummins is an outstanding choice to lead Bayside City Council at this time,” Cr Evans said.
“With his strong focus on the community, his passion, drive and superior leadership skills, Mr Cummins’ extensive experience in local government ensures that Bayside City Council is in safe and capable hands.”

“I look forward to working with the community, Councillors and staff to build on these successes and to continue delivering fantastic services and facilities for the great city of Bayside.”
“I feel very fortunate to be leading a council that serves the wonderful, connected and passionate community here in the City of Bayside.”
