Get ready for three days packed with entertainment, activities, gourmet food, cool climate wines and craft beers, and plenty of activities for the whole family.
The fun commences with a Friday afternoon session near the Winter Playground. The free silent disco will return to the Court House from 5.00pm to 9.00pm. Delicious food and beverages will be available.
The excitement continues on Saturday with Brew & Bite featuring gourmet food trucks, mulled wine and craft beer and plenty of activities and entertainment for all ages from midday to 9.00pm.
The Youth Council’s Groove and Grill will cap off the weekend on Sunday from 11am to 4pm showcasing the very best young artists and musicians from around the region.
Mayor of Bathurst Graeme Hanger OAM said the three days will have something for everyone.
“Whether you go for food, entertainment or the activities, this is the weekend that’s not to be missed,” he said.
The Winter Festival’s fixtures such as McDonald’s Bathurst Ice Rink, House of Mirrors, ferris wheel and illuminations will also operate throughout the weekend.

Come along and watch the region's talented local young artists perform on stage in Kings Parade. Bring along a blanket, friends and family and enjoy the Winter Playground which will be in full swing. There will also be a barbecue, some food stalls and sweet treats to top off the day.

McDonald’s Bathurst Ice Rink
When: Operating each day of the Winter Festival from 9am to 9pm.
Where: Russell Street opposite the Court House
Cost: Tickets $5 for ages 2-14, $10 ages 15 and over. Skating aids $5 each.
Coco’s Café located in the foyer of the McDonald’s Bathurst Ice Rink is open each day throughout the Bathurst Winter Festival serving hot coffees, pies, cakes and much more.
House of Mirrors
When: Every day of the Winter Festival from 9am to 9pm
Where: Russell Street (in front of Council Chambers)
Cost: $5 per person.
Ferris wheel
When: Each day of the Winter Festival from 9am to 9pm.
Where: Russell Street
Cost: Tickets are $5 per person to be purchased on the day.

When: Every day of the Winter Festival from dusk to 10pm

Tips for Brew & Bite:
·The feature event is Brew & Bite on Saturday, 14 July from midday – 9.00pm.
·Parking will be available throughout the CBD including the public carpark near the RSL.
·Road closures in place at Russell St between William and George Street will be closed from Sunday, 30 June and will reopen on Friday, 28 July.
·Church Street will be closed to traffic on 13 July from 2.00pm and Saturday, 14 July.
·Food will be available from vendors at Edible Alley (Church Street), Machattie Park and surrounding restaurants and cafes.
·Bring cash as ATMs are not available onsite. Nearby ATMs are available in the surrounding CBD.
·Bring last year’s event glass for wine purchases or you can buy one for $3 at the bar.
